Aubrey Ankrum was born in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. He is married and has children.
Like Kenn Navarro and Warren Graff, he also worked on various Mondo Media shows and made graphics for the shows. He has also worked for Microsoft, Macromedia, Disney, Warner Bros., BBC America and Cartoon Network as a graphic designer.
He created, wrote and directed the internet cartoon titled ‘The God & Devil Show’. The show went on to become very popular. He made ‘Banjo Frenzy’, a cartoon short, along with Kenn Navarro and Rhode Montijo. The short, later took the shape of ‘Happy Tree Friends‘ series. Its popularity broke the records, and the rest is history. It was picked up first by MTV International and then by G4 for its broadcast. Aubrey gave voice to the character of “Pop” and “Flippy”. Reportedly, Aubrey has left the show, but according to Warren Graff, his voice will be sampled and continued to be used on the show.
