Warren Graff was born on 23 June 1972 in California, United States of America. In 1996, he completed his graduation, majoring in business, from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He is married to Lizzi and they have a son named Austin. He lives with his family in San Francisco.
He had a natural inclination towards writing. He started writing for shows like ‘The God & Devil Show’, ‘Thugs on Film’ and ‘Like News’ for Mondo Media. There he also met Kenn Navarro and Rhode Montijo, who were working at the same place. Together they started working on a new show, ‘Happy Tree Friends‘ and he wrote for it. He also voiced the Character of “Toothy” in the series. He also created the spin-off of the series, titled ‘Ka-Pow!’
He has also written the video game ‘BMX XXX’, which was surrounded by controversies, due to its adult contents and was banned in Australia.
He won the Audience Award at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival for the Best Animated Series (For Adults) and the Best Television Series for Adults for ‘Happy Tree Friends’ in 2007 and for the Best Animated Short Film (Internet) for ‘Happy Tree Friends, Volume 2: Second Serving‘ in 2003. He won the Grand Prize at the Ottawa International Animation Festival for the Best Animated Short Film (Internet) for ‘Happy Tree Friends, Volume 3: Third Strike’.
